Beliefs
The Bible:  We teach that the Bible is divinely inspired, inerrant, sufficient and the final authority in all matters pertaining to Christian faith and practice.  There is no sharper Sword.

God: We teach there is only one living and true God as revealed in creation, scriptural revelation and His Son ~ Jesus Christ.  God is infinite, eternal, sovereign, and unchanging in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and truth.

Jesus Christ:  We teach that God became man in the person of Jesus Christ and that He is both God and man at the same time and in every way.  We believe that Christianity is Christ!  As both Lord and Savior, He is the mighty Founder of our faith. 

Holy Spirit: We teach that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and Author of the new birth.  He convicts of sin, guides us into all Truth and empowers every believer for life and service.  His great empahsis is Christ , our Emmanuel and Blessed Hope.

Man: We teach that man was created by God and in His image.  Through deliberate sin and rebellion man has alienated himself from God and is in desperate need of reconciliation, having incurred the penalty of spiritual and physical death.

 

 

Salvation: We teach a salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is immediate and total.   Because of the provision of Jesus' death upon the Cross, our sins can be freely forgiven and we can be fully reconciled to God.  Christ is our righteousness unto salvation.  There is no other Savior.

The Church: We teach that the Church was purchased and established by Jesus Christ Himself.  We teach that the church is universal, comprised of all true believers, but that it is manifested locally through visible congregations of Christ's followers, meeting together as the Building, Body, and Bride of Christ.

Ordinances: We teach that both believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper are visible portrayals of the realities of salvation.  We are commanded to faithfully observe them but they do not impart eternal life.

Last Things: We teach that Christ will return visibly and suddenly, in power, judgment and glory and this should have a vital bearing on our personal lives and ministries.
